I only wish there were chickens in this game
I only wish there were chickens in this game. What's the point of putting up fencing if there aren't any chickens? What kind of glade doesn't have chickens? I feel like I'm missing out on ambient clucking as well. Looking forward to DLC (DownLoadable Chickens) to fill the egg-shaped hole in my heart.

I am a 75 year old disabled man with not much to do
I am a 75 year old disabled man with not much to do. I came across this game by chance and gave it a try. The 11 hours is a moment. One thing I've enjoyed is being able to amble along making mistakes and finding neat ways to do things without any distracting input. I'm building my first little village following logical steps in regard to gov't, food, transport, population, industry, the whole nine yards, but keeping it in line with historical accuracy. I don't think I need speak further as to whether or not I enjoy and recommend this game. Addendum: I'm still playing a year later and plan to continue indefinitely. 9/30/25
