Satisfactory takes the factory fantasy first-person — hug a conveyor, sky-bridge a megastructure, and let the spaghetti become architecture.
I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. Satisfactory wears its Sim, Adventure, Multiplayer influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. The pitch — First-person factory building on an alien planet. — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Easy recommend at full price.
It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. If Sim, Adventure, Multiplayer is your thing, Satisfactory delivers it without much filler. On paper it is First-person factory building on an alien planet., and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. Checkpoints are frequent enough that a bad run never feels punishing. Easy recommend at full price.
