I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. If Action, MMO, Sim is your thing, Starbase delivers it without much filler. The pitch — Starbase is a hybrid voxel/vertex-based space MMO with a fully destructible and — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. Easy recommend at full price.

A friend recommended it and I owe them one. Starbase wears its Action, MMO, Sim influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. The pitch — Starbase is a hybrid voxel/vertex-based space MMO with a fully destructible and — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Checkpoints are frequent enough that a bad run never feels punishing. Easy recommend at full price.
