>Go to great pains to ensure you don't use AI-generated game assets >Pay artists and voice actors who are directly credited and easily contactable >Literally have a place in the discord for people to report suspected AI use for assets that were store-bought >Still have antis in the reviews saying "this game is obviously ai slop, the devs are lying" At this point you guys are just going to push people further toward AI. If going to all these lengths to avoid using AI even accidentally doesn't keep you safe from accusations then there's little reason for a developer to actually care about not using it in their games. Devs don't deserve this slander, they made a great game that is very obviously not 'ai slop'. Shame on y'all.
A low income janitor that, because of the crappy healthcare system in America, can't afford his daughters hospital bills and has to take a side gig as a crime scene cleaner for a mob boss. The setting might seem intense but it's a chill game. There's no time limit, no enemies, just you and your cleaning supplies. It's a game where you can relax, put on some music while cleaning the crime scenes spotless, all while you IRL room gets messier and messier because no one likes to clean their room. Essentially PowerWash Simulator, crime scene edition.
Leaving a positive review because idiots keep accusing this game of being AI slop or some variation of that insult. While the game does sometimes give heavy "unity game" vibes, it has extremely creative levels, mechanics and gameplay that means that those issues are barely relevant. I have not played Act 2 yet but Act 1 and the free updates that came out afterwards makes this game worth the price, and I will be buying Biohazard when it comes out. Support smaller studios, and the next time you want to complain about AI, email Sam Altman or the Pentagon about AI weapons killing people and the planet, rather than going after creative projects which don't use them at all.
