Hard to put down
I am a big car guy, I am a mechanic and this game could be 10x better if they added other modifications into the game rather than just performance, suspension- Coilovers? Bags? Lowering Springs?, Brakes- Big brake kits?... Maybe even go into detail and do proper ECU tuning- Flames in exhaust? Better Fuel:Air ratio? proper exhaust systems- straight pipes, back boxes. Paint engine parts like timing covers and that, this would be cool. Also proper garage customisation like, build your own garage, place this toolbox here, this ramp there you know? A real LONG shot but imagine a multiplayer mode, open a garage with your mates? 4 players a session or something, now that would be amazing if something like that would come to CMS 19 if they make one. However the game right now is still amazing, im just wishful thinking, you can make 1000bhp + cars ive done it, but the looks also are a big feature for me hence the stuff im suggesting, but worth every penny.

FYI, I'm a 54 year old mom, and I love this game. The parts are realistic, as far as I know, 35 years ago I helped my future husband replace the transmission on his Beetle. I've been plying on and off for about a year, and I finally took the plunge and purchased a car from a barn, and OMG, it's exhilarating to open the hood, and every part is rusty. Then finding that a few of the parts I've been collecting actually fit on my car. Shiny air filter cover on an otherwise super duper rusty engine! The tutorial is pretty weak. However, I really got used to all the controls by completely dismateling the tutorial car. So. Much. Fun. If you are like me, and love taking things apart, and putting them back together, this is the game for you.

I really wish steam had a netural review button, because this game left me torn. The game play is solid, and the cars look beautiful, but the grind man, there is just so much of it. For example if you want to unlock the paint shop you have to unlock over 30 levels to do it. You also cannot "swap" engines as you think you would but more on that in a bit but the biggest gripe for me is the developers. DO NOT go on to the steam forums with a question or a omment or an IMMEDIATE ban will be threatned by the devs. I was shocked when someone asked if you could swap a V8 engine for one that is supercharged, not only to be told no, but when someone offered a work around using the company'S OWN EDITOR, that person and the person posting the question was threatned with a banning. These are not people asking how to crack the game, or how to edit lines of code, these are players asking for a feature that has been with us since CMS15 only to be told no and then threatned with a banning. The fact that the developer would do this after all the bugs and garbage we had to deal with at launch, to treat us this way, makes me suspect all they really wanted was our hard earned money. I have seen people post guides that are stickied in THEIR OWN FORUM only to be threatned with banishment. Look, if you want to look at pretty cars and rebuild them all while grinding and being threated with being banished from the town square then by all means grab a copy and have a great time. If that doesnt appeal to you than I would recommend spending your money on something else and not supporting Play Way in any way, shape, or form.
