I only post this review in the hopes that the developers of the game get to see it. This paywall of yours is just... too much. And it's time for it to come to a stop. You have so many other things that people can spend crowns on. Your membership now has so many other benefits. It's time to remove the paywall, and allow people to enjoy the core game. I shouldn't have to pay for content after level NINE. This may have been okay back in the day when the max level was 60, but now it's what. 120? 130? And what's worse, is that even if you did want to permanently unlock each zone with crowns, the price is simply ridiculous! 750 crowns for an extra area? I can't even unlock all of wizard city with 5 dollars with those prices. And that only gets me to level 16, MAYBE. So please Kingsisle, your fan base has grown up. It's time you did too. Having this kind of business proposition set up is just going to push all your future potential fans away. Oh, and while you're at it, fix the pet leveling too. Pets should get exp from battle. Nobody wants to spend 3 hours a day playing mindless mini games to level their pet up. I don't care if it's 1xp per battle. Just give me an alternative. Because the grind for pet leveling is unbearable.

i re-downloaded this game for nostalgic purposes, but forgot about the near immediate paywall. as long as 99% of this game is blocked under a subscription service i cannot recommend this for new players. Let me rephrase, I personally love the game and am fine with paying to play it. Although that doesn't mean I'm obligated to recommend it to others. The reason i don't recommend this game to newer players is because unless you are already fond of this game and are prepared to spend money on it, the game wont provide much enjoyment.
