Embark on a puzzle solving adventure in which you and a partner must prove you can communicate and work together to escape the haunted Castle Rock. . . It all begins with an emergency flare lighting up the sky and a distress call waking you from uneasy dreams. Your fellow Antarctic explorers are in trouble, and the two of you left at base camp must work together to launch a rescue mission. If only you knew what you were getting into…. . From the research base camp you’ll need to figure out a way to get to the source of the distress flare. Once you’re through the frozen Antarctic wastes, you'll find yourselves separated inside a medieval castle, facing puzzles, secrets, and dangers! This game was really great to play along with my SO
This game was really great to play along with my SO. However we got really stuck on Chapter 8 and had to look up the solution. We discovered that this chapter is bugged and won't load all the puzzles to solve properly. This issue was originally posted 2 years ago and clearly it is still not fixed. Requires a full game restart to fix. I can't recommend this game until this bug is FIXED! Update: spoke to developers on their Discord channel about the issue and they know about it and didn't bother fixing it. Their Discord has a bug report section littered with people reporting voice com bugs, and controller bugs, as well as even more game play bugs, and pretty much all of them don't have solutions. looks like they have given up on this game in favor of working on their next title, which I can only assume with also have lots of these kinds of bugs.
