6About The Way of Life Free Edition
The Way of Life makes the player relive the same life's experiences from the point of view of three characters of different ages: an adult, an old man and a child. The experiences we want to tell about are very different, they go from a quarrel to a dream, and further to more serious topics like death and love. The main point about the game is that every experience will be told through different gameplay mechanics. Also, every playable character has his own specific mechanics and a way to see the world. The player throughout the game can explore and live different stories and feel a variety of emotions in an amusing and captivating experience.

Let me start by saying that this is NOT FREE TO PLAY
Let me start by saying that this is NOT FREE TO PLAY. I don't know why they would advertise this as free 2 play. I am pretty sure Steam allows developers to publish a demo without actually needing to publish the store page of a full game. THIS IS A DEMO. Actually this looks more like an early version of a limited beta of the game. It includes only some of the levels, the final game will be with its price (unknown to me) and with all the levels. Though it would have been nicer to advertise this as what it is, but from the store page title you can't tell it's a limited version (though it is written in the description). I don't know, it looks kind of shady to me, not very transparent feeling. Anyway, on to the game: the style has a lot to offer. But as I said this really feels like an incomplete version of an incomplete game. Walk speed is not well balanced compared to the environments. The subtitles (no voice acting) come always very suddenly and you can't move nor look around when it happens....this breaks immersion a lot and is very annoying, also because the subtitle stays there much longer than the time you actually need to read it. Hub world as other people say is badly designed and not very effective (it is the first thing you see in the game....you have to make a better impression). The game looks promising and one of a kind.....I can recommend it but with lots of reservations.

Not the game for me
I can see this game is very atmospheric and let you live the life through different lenses, but I can't recommend the game because it gets frustrating when you can't progress. If you're going to tell an interactive story, just tell it. don't play against us. we're not your enemy, we're your co-author of this game.
