Nostalgia multiplies greatly the value of this already exceptional title. It enhances the gameplay experience and brings childlike excitement. Restores connections between brain cells presumed to be dead. It's not just a mere game. It's a rejuvenating potion. A time travel machine.

90's video gamer dad here.... and this is a throwback to TMNT Arcade, Hyperstone Heist and Turtles in Time all at once! Mix in a bit of Streets of Rage elements in here, and you got a great beat em up! While multiplayer and cross play is still buggy/laggy/limited, I imagine this will only get better in time. Oh, and there is a bit of replay value as well, since the characters gain more abilities with increased usage. My kids will learn the meaning of.... Cowabunga.

Do you like 1980's TMNT?
Do you like 1980's TMNT? Do you like side scrolling beat-'em-ups? Then you will thoroughly enjoy this game. The Dotemu guys did a great job with the Streets of Rage 4 game and they used all the things they learned from that game and applied them to TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. Production team, if you're listening, please apply your magic to the Golden Axe franchise.
