Wait for a sale
This is a good game in many ways but I have to leave a negative review for the greedy, shady business practices Namco and Bandai are engaged in. Day-one DLC means that they surgically removed content from the full game in order to nickel and dime us while they sell the dissected pieces back to us one by one. Season passes that don't include off all of the DLC only make matters worse, the entire point of a season pass is that it includes all the DLC at a discounted price. Not only is this behavior greedily anti-consumer, but the side effects are even more dire. They're intentionally creating an unfair playing field by locking a quarter of the characters behind DLC pay walls. This is unforgivable. The most important thing for a fighting game is to create a fair and balanced playing field. Immediately putting a quarter of the characters behind a pay wall means many people will never get to use them or train with them, putting them at an instant disadvantage compared to people who had the extra money to spend. They pimped out Tekken and they pimped out Soul Calibur, cheapening the games and ultimately cheapening the entire franchises just so they could extort twice the cost of the game from each customer. It's sad and it's disgusting to see these proud and respected fighting franchises reduced to this.

I'm gonna keep this short and simple
I'm gonna keep this short and simple. SoulCalibur VI offers custom character creation, a nice variety of game modes including CPU vs CPU, good music, and the game runs great. The character creation is in depth and offer lots of different ways to customize and create your characters. There is also in-game currency for buying equipment in character creation, I really like this. The loading times are great, the scenery and character graphics are beautiful, and controls feel smooth as silk. SoulCalibur VI easily deserves 10/10! Do yourself the favor and get the game!
