A friend recommended it and I owe them one. Settlement Survival wears its Sim, Strategy influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. The pitch — In this city-building game, you will lead a group of survivors in their search — is delivered without too much filler. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Worth it, especially on sale.

I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. If Sim, Strategy is your thing, Settlement Survival delivers it without much filler. The pitch — In this city-building game, you will lead a group of survivors in their search — is delivered without too much filler. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. There is more content here than the price suggests. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
