Probably one of the best updates ever in the history of videogames!
Probably one of the best updates ever in the history of videogames! Fusion puts all your (supported) Serious Sam games together. You can uninstall standalone versions (btw. saved games are not compatible) because Fusion checks your library, downloads everything needed and puts everything together and you can switch from (for an example) SS3 to SS1 within a few seconds. It also enables Vulkan and 64 bit support. - looks better (colors) - sounds better (some gun sounds are completely different and much better) - runs better and the overall performance is much more stable (oh yes, Vulkan power! - I guess Serious Sam and Vulkan is an excellent combination - hundrets of NPCs, better CPU utilization) Runs like a dream on Linux. Croteam are very skilled developers, they like pushing technologies forward. Amazing work, seriously. A chance for me to finally play Serious Sam The First Encounter. It's always nice to play new games but sometimes I prefer the nostalgic feel of good old games.

Unfortunately, it's yet another game in never-ending beta - like SS: Classics Revolution. They announced recently they won't be doing any more major updates for Fusion, and SS4 will never be added, a complete 180 from what they said when this project was started. I don't understand what on Earth has happened to Croteam as a company in the last few years.
