Hard to put down
The game is great, the world is interesting enough for me, the restarting is a nice difference to most other games, though it can be annoying as hell. One major issue I had was the graphics, i've got a mid range computer and have no issue running most games on high 12400, 3070, 48gb ddr4, 3440x1440. After about 30 minutes to an hour of gameplay, the environmental textures went from high to ps1 game cerca 1995. A restart would resolve it but, alas, after another hour, it would be back. What fixed it for me was to change the launch options in steam, right click Returnal, Properties, General, Launch options. Then type "-dx12" in the box (without the " ") then that resolved all graphical issues, it can also be ran in DX11, but while the graphical issues were resolved, there were a lot of stability issues. Hopefully this will help someone resolve the same issue i've had.
