This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. Phasmophobia leans hard into Action, Multiplayer, Co-op, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. The pitch — Phasmophobia is a 4 player online co-op psychological horror. Paranormal — is delivered without too much filler. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Worth it, especially on sale.

It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. Phasmophobia wears its Action, Multiplayer, Co-op influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. It helps that the premise (Phasmophobia is a 4 player online co-op psychological horror. Paranormal) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. The difficulty curve is gentle at first and then asks more of you, which felt right. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
