I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed
I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. The Action, Adventure, Cozy mix is what kept me playing; Nothing knows what it wants to be. It helps that the premise (A game about doing Nothing) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Worth it, especially on sale.

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. If Action, Adventure, Cozy is your thing, Nothing delivers it without much filler. It helps that the premise (A game about doing Nothing) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. There is more content here than the price suggests. I will be back for another run.
