There is a good game buried in here somewhere
There is a good game buried in here somewhere. Fans of Adventure, Cozy, RPG will recognise the pieces, though Little Witch in the Woods never quite assembles them. It advertises Little Witch in the Woods tells the story of Ellie, an apprentice witch; what you get is a thinner version of that. Performance was acceptable, though the loop repeats itself well before the credits. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. Not for everyone, and not for me.

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. Little Witch in the Woods wears its Adventure, Cozy, RPG influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. The pitch — Little Witch in the Woods tells the story of Ellie, an apprentice witch — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. Easy recommend at full price.
