Not the game for me
49 hours into the game and loving it to come back to find my world is completely wiped, went looking online to find help and found out this has been an issue for over 2 years now and is still not fixed to the point the discord literally has a section for shared save files to get you restarted somewhat after your save is corrupt and unrecoverable... Pretty poor from the dev's to bring out dlc before fixing this issue. No point playing when you know every time you leave it may not work when you return, very disapointed will never support this company again!

One of my best buys this year
Aside from enjoying this game immensely, and now being able to enjoy it alongside my child, the 2.0 release happening at the same time as LEGO The Skywalker Saga has made me think: Hydroneer's tiny dev team may have not been able to deliver "full" multiplayer, but they have been honest and upfront about this and keep in constant contact with their players. Meanwhile WB Games and TT Games massive dev team dropped features at the last minute that they had previously promised, released a heavily bugged game and haven't patched or communicated with their players for weeks. I know which I prefer - which is why Hydroneer gets thumbs up from me. Remember, a thumbs up for a developer that has the respect to update their community, despite their trials is a thumbs up for good dev-player relationships.
