About HighFleet

In a world with no memory of its past. The House of Sayadi sends its thousand-ton military ships to the skies. Stirring the peace of nations inhabiting the earth they strive to bring back what they have lost. As a commander of the Sayadi Task Force you’ve been sent to regain control of the rebellious Kingdom of Gerat by whatever means necessary. To succeed will require careful exploration, clever resource management, cautious diplomacy and building a fleet capable of ruling the skies unchallenged. But maybe a much greater destiny awaits you in this journey. As this forsaken land still hides the mysterious prophecies of a long forgotten past.Killer combat. At the heart of HighFleet is a unique form of combat in which giant ships bristling with weaponry duel above the desert. This is no mindless button mashing, however. Far from it. Battles are won by skilfully moving into positions that allow you to exploit your enemies' weak spots. Serious strategy. Mastering HighFleet requires much more than winning battles. You must explore the mysterious lands of Gerat. You must manage your ships, men, fuel and other resources. You must engage in diplomacy with the various factions. And then

On the last leg of my campaign I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place

On the last leg of my campaign I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. My fuel is almost gone, and although there's a resupply city in sight, my ELINT is lit up like a Christmas tree. From encrypted comms I can deduce there's a strike group Granit to northeast and another strike group Terek to southwest. Even if I pull off a surprise attack and capture the city, I won't have time to refuel before I'm being pounded by missiles from every direction. So I make a decision to land in the middle of nowhere and turn off the engines, making my fleet practically indistinguishable from nearby rocks at a distance. By a stroke of bad luck I'm discovered by a recon plane. Immediately I give an order to start the engines, but lifting a hundred ton steel brick from the ground on a cold start takes time. An infrared signature is detected - we have incoming. Despite sustained machine gun and twin cannon fire a ballistic missile hits my Lightning MK2 directly on the bridge, destroying it completely. No amount of maneuverability can help you when you're tumbling to the ground in a metal coffin filled with fuel and explosive ammunition. All 77 souls on board are lost instantly - my best veteran crew with lvl 5 upgrades that have been with me since the very beginning. Whoever did that must pay. Light enemy ships are erased from existence by 180mm cannons on my flagship. We're finally airborne and after expending a bunch of anti-air missiles and suffering moderate damage to attack corvettes, an enemy missile cruiser is burning and unable to fire as its generators are popping one by one. Seems we have won, but at a cost. Strike group Terek has finally figured out where we are. I reach to flip the switch cover and prepare a nuclear missile for launch. Yes, I am sure.
