Not the game for me

Has a fan of survival craft games, i trully wanted to give this game a positive review, but even with bugs aside, i just cant the idea of having a mobile base that you fly around and transform as you progress is really appealing, and they hit it right on the mark on that front. The problem with this game is its progression. You need to jump from outpost to outpost, collecting resources, upgrades and blueprints. And there are a few different types of outposts, like a communications outpost, windfarm, small town and outgrown outposts But believe me when i say, each and single one of these is literally a Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V copy of the last one. i had to stop playing when i reached the 2nd small town outpost and saw the same "lets colour the world" PDA message, next to the recouloring machine blueprint. this game does very little when it comes to rewarding exploration which is the basic premise of the game. Imagine if you came across the same blueprints and the same pda messages in every biome you found in subnautica? no more exploration needed, no more mystery, no more fun. thats what this game translates to. The spine of the game is barebones

32 hours in, and love this game

32 hours in, and love this game. But they have had a problem with airships getting stuck for at least 18 months (earliest posts I saw were April 2024). There was a post from a mod / developer last year stating they thought they'd fixed the problem. But it continues to be an issue. My ship is currently stuck stuck... Getting on and off the ship isn't fixing it. Logging off and back on isn't fixing it. 4 upgraded engines built, placed, fueled - nope, it isn't engine power. So my current game is unplayable. And I am unwilling to jump in to another run without a real fix to this problem. Again, I have enjoyed the play so far. Original idea, enjoyable. And I'd like to continue. But a perma-stuck airship deadlines the game...
