FIREWORKS MANIA is an explosive simulator game where you can play around with fireworks. Play by yourself or play with others in community hosted games. The built-in Workshop gives you access to thousands of items created by the community, like fireworks, props, maps and characters. Eventhough the game is created to be a casual game where players have fun for a short while, the game can easily entertain creative players for hours, as they setup a firework show or explore the environments in the hunt for things to blow up. Not two play-sessions are the same, as the game is heavily physics based, resulting a different outcome every time. This often leads to fun moments, when things are not going as planned. - Enjoy!

I bounced off it twice before finally giving up. Fans of Action, Cozy, Sim will recognise the pieces, though Fireworks Mania - An Explosive Simulator never quite assembles them. What it promises (FIREWORKS MANIA is a small casual explosive simulator game where you play) is more interesting than what it actually does moment to moment. The pacing sags in the middle third and never fully recovers. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. Not for everyone, and not for me.

It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. If Action, Cozy, Sim is your thing, Fireworks Mania - An Explosive Simulator delivers it without much filler. The pitch — FIREWORKS MANIA is a small casual explosive simulator game where you play — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

It helps that the premise (FIREWORKS MANIA is a small casual explosive simulator game where you play) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. There is more content here than the price suggests. Worth it, especially on sale.
