I bounced off it twice before finally giving up
I bounced off it twice before finally giving up. F1® 2021 promises a lot with its Racing, Sim, Sports setup, but the loop wore thin quickly. What it promises (Every story has a beginning in F1® 2021, the official videogame of the 2021 FIA) is more interesting than what it actually does moment to moment. Too many systems are introduced and then abandoned. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Wait for a deep sale.

I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. F1® 2021 leans hard into Racing, Sim, Sports, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. The pitch — Every story has a beginning in F1® 2021, the official videogame of the 2021 FIA — is delivered without too much filler. The difficulty curve is gentle at first and then asks more of you, which felt right. There is more content here than the price suggests. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
