It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. The Action, Adventure, RPG mix is what kept me playing; Enshrouded knows what it wants to be. The pitch — Enshrouded is a solo and co-op survival action RPG where your freedom and — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Worth it, especially on sale.

Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. Enshrouded wears its Action, Adventure, RPG influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. On paper it is Enshrouded is a solo and co-op survival action RPG where your freedom and, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. The difficulty curve is gentle at first and then asks more of you, which felt right. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
