Loved the building
Loved the building. I am playing it through for the second time and enjoying it as much as the first.. I played it through lockdown and it kept me away from the doom and gloom on the TV.. At the age of 72 I have been gaming since it first started - my all time favourite was Ultima Underworld but it's now in 2nd place Dragon Quest Builders have taken prime slot mumero uno. Wish I could get to play the first game in the series on PC and hope that I live long enough to see no3! Brilliant game five star!

As many people have pointed out, there's a game breaking glitch with this steam version. If you haven't purchased the game yet but plan on doing so, DOWNLOAD AND PLAY THE DEMO FIRST and get past the boat tutorial then purchase the game after. You can't download the demo if you've already purchased the game because it'll only install the full version. If you don't, you'll be stuck on a saving screen forever. I own the game on the Switch but the lag on my 'island' because of the Switch's limitations eventually made me stop playing. If you did just straight out buy the game first like I did (because you knew what you were getting) there was only one fix that worked for me. -Uninstall the game -Turn off cloud saving(not sure if this had anything to do with it) -Make a separate steam account and download the demo -Get to the Isle of Awakening on this second account and then switch over to your main account, download the full game and continue the game from the demo. I spent three hours troubleshooting and found this to be the only thing that worked for me. I genuinely hope this helps someone else out so you don't feel like you wasted $60. It's extremely upsetting that the devs never fixed this but hey, what can you do. Aside from this it's a great game tho!
