5About Divinity: Original Sin 2
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the CRPG sandbox that taught Baldur's Gate 3 everything — elemental surfaces, systemic quests, four-player chaos.

It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down
It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. The RPG, Co-op, Tactics mix is what kept me playing; Divinity: Original Sin 2 knows what it wants to be. It helps that the premise (The systemic CRPG that set up Baldur's Gate 3.) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

A friend recommended it and I owe them one
A friend recommended it and I owe them one. If RPG, Co-op, Tactics is your thing, Divinity: Original Sin 2 delivers it without much filler. On paper it is The systemic CRPG that set up Baldur's Gate 3., and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. There is more content here than the price suggests. Easy recommend at full price.
