ROME REMASTERED includes the Alexander and Barbarian Invasion DLCs, as well as a copy of the original ROME: Total War Collection* if you don’t already own it. Improved Visuals ROME REMASTERED brings the classic Rome visuals up to date, with 4K optimization**, ultra-widescreen and native UHD resolution** support. This visual upgrade extends across a multitude of features, including re-modelled buildings and objects, and environmental effects like dust clouds and heat haze. The refreshed campaign maps also boast new high-resolution models, and units have been remodelled and retextured to look their very best on the battlefield. Modern Features ROME REMASTERED includes a host of modern features and improvements to existing mechanics. The in-game camera has been enhanced, including map rotation and wider zoom level in Campaign mode. Heat maps and new icon overlays have been added for gameplay mechanics such as diplomacy and security. In Battle, the new tactical map, unit displays and range markers give you greater command over Rome’s battlefields. The most tiring version of Rome Total War so far. Despite some graphical improvements and minor add-ins, the user interface has been changed and it is more tiring to use, leading to a lot of attrition in a game that is made for long plays.

I'm home
I'm home. After following dev but hearing nothing about stability and FPS I was worried a bit. Original Rome runs like ass on modern day (AMD) systems with huge lag in big battles and sieges. The first thing I did when the game unlocked was start a huge siege in Rome itself and do a field battle. No lag, good frames. Bliss. I can finally go back to enjoying the game that I loved during my childhood, without having the actual FPS I had in my childhood! Now, if you'll excuse me I will go back to playing the game as it is meant to be played. As Macedon, Light Lancers and phalanx cheese in city streets. See you in a thousand hours.

I have almost 1000 hours in it and I'm still going strong in it
I have almost 1000 hours in it and I'm still going strong in it. I am playing through every single faction the game has included, DLC ones included, and I never once got bored of the game. Just the need...to expand my empire; to play just...one more turn. My therapist is recommending me to get back on my heroine addiction because that might be healthier.
