It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. The Adventure, RPG mix is what kept me playing; The Coffin of Andy and Leyley knows what it wants to be. The pitch — Walk-n-talk adventure with light puzzling. Brother and sister practice — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Checkpoints are frequent enough that a bad run never feels punishing. Worth it, especially on sale.
It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. If Adventure, RPG is your thing, The Coffin of Andy and Leyley delivers it without much filler. It helps that the premise (Walk-n-talk adventure with light puzzling. Brother and sister practice) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting in the quieter sections. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
