Bought this game, had it for less than a month and got banned for no reason
Bought this game, had it for less than a month and got banned for no reason. There is a lot of information online stating that banned accounts only happen to cheaters and people are "flooding" reviews claiming they were banned when they weren't. I put 110 hours into this game, stopped for a few days, and came back to a permanent ban. I am a rule follower, and did nothing to deserve this. Don't buy the game. This company is a bit crazy. It's heartbreaking to put so many hours into something just to have it taken away with no explanation.

Absolutely amazing and addictive game to play, definitely one step above Pokemon
Absolutely amazing and addictive game to play, definitely one step above Pokemon. I would recommend buying this but their ban system is tragic for a game that you pay for. The moment their autoban hits you, you have zero chance of getting your ban appealed. They will not tell you the reason behind your ban nor will they issue any warning or whatsoever before just instantly banning you permanently. I've sank 500 hours into this game, never cheated in any game and had zero incentives to cheat in TemTem, especially when I don't even bother with PvP. I have tried numerous e-mails detailing all of my activities over the week I got banned, and I personally had no idea what I was banned for besides "Cheating". All you will ever get from them is a copy pasted ban message, sprinkled with a short written message saying that you won't be unbanned. Great game, terrible support, what a shame.

As others have covered many pros and cons about the game, I will talk about their Kickstarter. I paid $60 to support this game on Kickstarter while they were still coming up with the different creature designs. It seemed to be exactly what I wanted in an open world monster collecting game and it was throughout most of development. I was very happy with their weekly emails showing how things were coming along, although I did never get any of my Kickstarter rewards that they said they sent out like the plushie and stickers. Whatever, no big deal. Until they introduced microtransactions. And then more microtransactions. And then eventually nearly all cosmetics and all mount skins were behind a paywall, in a full price game nonetheless. I did not mind in the beginning, expecting perhaps they'd change it upon full release. No, they continued to stuff the in game shop full of unique items that you could not gain through gameplay elsewhere. Clothes, dyes, mount skins, wings, you name it. Even a battle pass. This game singlehandedly burned me on Kickstarters. I no longer trust them not to turn around and nickle and time the players who already supported them. I have quite the negative image of this game and any others that pull this same rug pull. It's greedy and pulls down the overall quality of the game. Sure they'll keep the whales, but at what cost? You want a game that'll be fun for the duration of the campaign? Go for it. You want a game with endgame activities that you can play long term? No, this is not the game.
