The game is surprisingly fun and I really feel bad for the developer that The full game was cracked 1 week before its official launch on steam. I bought it the first minute it was live because I wanted to support them. I recommend start playing on easy mode as the normal mode is quite hard. Pros: - Unreal Engine 4 Graphics are really amazing - Well optimized. GPU usage 99% most of the time - Ray Tracing DLSS - Fun combat, cool skill effects - The game is very detailed, it's even more detailed than many AAA games - $29.99 Cons: - excessive dialogs and cut scenes - FF7 remake Chinese version - Bosses are really hard and annoying on normal mode - some quests are kind of stupid - there are more I will update later
This is a bilingual review in general especially for English Reader. Graphic (画面): 9/10 Combat Mechanism (战斗系统): 6.5/10 --- Overall is okay, the enemy does not feel being hit most of the time especially for the boss fight Music (音乐): 100/10 --- This is so perfect, such than it's enjoyable even if I need to pause to do something else where the music is very comfortable as usual work or sleep in most cases. Optimization (优化): 7/10 --- Light Trace is not making a lot of differences in many/most of locations, and it will lower your FPS significantly (take up too much from GPU) --- PS: I have 3060. Note: The facial expression (面部表情): 1/10 --- As what it means, no facial expression was properly designed. This is part I believe that developer will gradually improve their design. Special Note: This is not a causal fighting game, and it is more like a sword and magic world with storytelling focus. Thanks, Hope this will help you in any way
Honestly this is such an incredible game. The visuals were fantastic, music was great and story I thought was awesome. I only saw one or two glitches during the entire game that happened during fighting where everyone fell through the map right away. I just reloaded the game which saved right before it and it worked fine the second time. The people complaining about "bad translation" are the ones complaining that sometimes in menus it will say "yes" instead of "ok" and similar with dialog maybe being something like "I asked this guy to investigation this town". It's like talking with someone where English is the second language. You know exactly what they're saying, it's just not perfect SOMETIMES. If that's game breaking for you then you're probably not fun at parties. I played on a RTX 3070 / 5800x CPU / 32GB RAM / Win11. I did not get frame rate drops or bad visuals during the entirety of the game that others are experiencing. The gave never crashed.
