The developers removed a key scene from the game
The developers removed a key scene from the game. Steam flagged most of the reviews as "off topic", which is a complete falsehood when we're talking about actually removing content from a game you already paid for, so be warned that if you do not have it set to show "off topic" reviews, you are actually looking at an artificially inflated review score, which is completely illegal in the United States under The Consumer Review Fairness Act. The community at large did not want that scene to be removed, as it added substantially to the narrative experience.

Developer just removed content from the game for being to "distrubing"
Developer just removed content from the game for being to "distrubing". These were scenes of your character shooting themselves in the head in order to return from the game world to the real world and vice versa. The entire gameplay loop is nonstop murdering red humanoids. This is just BS virtue signalling like every other developer in the current times trying to appeal to twitter snowflakes. "Suicide bad. Murder Good" Don't make your entire marketing tactic centered around being "edgy" and then virtue signal when you remove "edgy" content from the game.

How to fix SuperHot VR:
How to fix SuperHot VR: 1. hit the windows+R keys 2. type "steam://open/console" into the run box 3) The secret steam console will launch type "download_depot 617830 617831 1718632565497690274" into steams console and wait for the game to download (NOTE: download wont appear in downloads tab wait for the console to tell you its done) 4) since this isnt installed in the traditional way it wont show up in your steam library. so go to the following folder address "steam\content\app_617830\depot_617831" 5) drag all of the contents from that depot into the local files for the game 6) enjoy the uncensored experience
