THIS REVIEW WAS EDITED 29/JUNE/2017 ✔ Fast and fluid combat ✔ Interesting and impactful story ✔ Polished and streamlined mechanics ✔ Quality music, sound and voice acting ✔ Serious replayability value ✔ Unique and clean artstyle. This game knows exactly what it set out to do and does it flawlessly. The game even has quality of life mechanic where it speeds up the story once you achieve a certain ending. This is one of those titles that you play for a good 30 minutes a day and come back to it the next day just as excited and just as entertained. EDIT: It should be mentioned that the selling point of this game (meaningful choices) will sometimes fall flat on it's face. In too many scenarios if found one of the choices leads to a bunch of text then an instant death screen, leading me to retry the entire level. Now you could shrug this off as part of the comedy but I really wish it had happened less often.

Filled with compelling one-liners and combat mechanisms

Filled with compelling one-liners and combat mechanisms. The story (or stories) are delicate and versatile, reminds me of Transistor. I couldn't get a hold on what the writer was gonna do to me and it unsettled me. Combat is what you want it to be. I felt invincible after finishing my combo-based sword fu build but you can also choose to upgrade time freeze ability and make it a turn-based strategy game. Overall a delightful surprise that shows me top-down ARPG can still be this fun.

This is a good game if you're someone who enjoys storytelling and beautiful graphics

This is a good game if you're someone who enjoys storytelling and beautiful graphics. However, if you're someone who's looking for challenging or deep combat, you should look elsewhere. The game isn't very well-optimised but only has minor bugs. That's it, really.
