I went in with modest expectations and came out genuinely impressed. If Action, Adventure, Soulslike is your thing, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor delivers it without much filler. It helps that the premise (Bigger, better lightsaber action across the galaxy.) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. Worth it, especially on sale.

It took an hour to click, and then I could not put it down. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor leans hard into Action, Adventure, Soulslike, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. The pitch — Bigger, better lightsaber action across the galaxy. — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. The soundtrack does a lot of heavy lifting in the quieter sections. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
