Seraph's Last Stand is a rogue-like shoot 'em up based on the flash era classic "Heli Attack", where every wave you pick a new upgrade and try to break the game with crazy builds. You start clean every playthrough, but if you choose the right combinations, you can snowballs into powerful builds: Some features of the game are: - 40+ different items to compose your builds and secret items you discover by stacking. - Multiple staves and hats to chose from. - A leaderboard system, with world, national and local ranks. I have a rule for when I buy games directly through steam
I have a rule for when I buy games directly through steam. It must be worth $1 per hour of gameplay. I mean my hours says enough right? Perfect game for night time chill hours.

Not the game for me
I want to enjoy the game as the basic mechanic are sound and it plays well, but the beginning of the g ame (first 20 or so waves) are so slow it makes me not want to play again. at 30+ levels you start stacking upgrades and seeing the results but until then it's a painful slog. Could use a balancing pass over the early stages to be more enjoyable.
