Do I recommend this game? Absolutely, it's one of my fave games ever. But do I recommend this PC port? No, I don't. I really think Atlus could have done a better job with this, instead they chose to be lazy, as usual, and they gave us... this. The audio's quality frankly sucks, the upscaling doesn't look very good and honestly this game REALLY needed a fast-forward option. I'm grateful more people will be able to play P3P and get to see FeMC's route, but honestly do yourself a favour and play this using a PSP emulator, if you can. I truly believe it's the best way to experience this game, and it's free. I feel bad for giving P3P a bad review but as users we gotta let Atlus know what they are doing right and what they are doing wrong. I'm hoping for more ports and/or remasters in the future, but PLEASE do a better job next time.
On the one hand P3 is an amazing game with a fantastic story that I want everyone to experience but, on the other hand, this port is quite lazy with most of the art looking like it has been poorly upscaled, the audio crunchy as hell and basically no real gameplay improvements other than being able to suspend save the game (hell, even the Nocturne remake made selectable inheritance skills a thing and that was a PS2 game). Obviously there's arguments over whether FES or P3P is the real way to play this game but at the end of the day I think they could've done a much better job with this. I still recommend this if this is the only way you can play Persona 3 but I would prefer much better version of the game at double the price.
If you plan on buying this game, i recommend playing it with the mods from gamebanana. What Atlus couldn't do, modders created the actual "definitive" experience by fixing the crappy audio, re-adding the cutscenes from the original fes, etc.
