This game was spectacular in its original release, and my friend and I spent many hours enjoying it. Unfortunately the game is now in a state where for casual players it is just not fun. The AI manufactures armies at ridiculous tempo even on the standard difficulty and the method of beating it is not playing the game better but rather taking advantage of what the ai is poor at on a micro level, and that's just not fun. I appreciate that a small vocal minority of the community likes the different type of challenge that poses, but it is unlikely I will pick the game back up again.
