TLDR: **YES, BUY IT - USE THE CHINESE AUDIO IN THE SETTINGS** Reviewing this as a meta 4th wall breaking game, it's impossible not to compare it to other meta games. Dictionaries define terms using other terms, anyways! Like The Stanley Parable, ICEY features a Narrator who will guide you towards a specific goal, and you can choose to obey (resulting in a rather short gameplay experience), or rebel. This being a metagame, disobedience results in FUN. The true "end" of this game, much like TSP, comes from the act of discovering all possible achievements and secrets. The story is a bit hammy or seemingly pretentious at times, which may be intentional. The gameplay is a hack'n'slash where you are beating up robots. And it's fun. Controls are very responsive. A lot of people like to compare this one to Mega Man Zero or Devil May Cry, though (insert Sonic wagging finger here) ICEY is SUBSTANTIALLY easier than DMC. You can get all endings on any difficulty level, so pick whichever difficulty feels fun to you. You can change difficulty at any point by - (mild spoiler) - Use the I Extensive Interface to warp back to the first level, stand in front of the closed lab doors (the ones you came out of at the start of the game), and wait for a really long time. The main issue I had with the game was not its length but the English voice acting. Before you play the game, I HIGHLY recommend that you go into the Options and switch the voice over to Chinese Mandarin with subtitles. The English voice acting makes the Narrator sound like he's forcing every line; the original Chinese voice acting (this game was done by a Chinese developer) sounds much more fluid, natural and emotional.

In that time,you can buy a pirate disk in just 5 yuan≈0.5USD. Even somebody bought these disks thought what they bought were the copyrighted games. They didn't aware about how harmful to game developers which they have done.WHAT A PITY! 2:NOW,in 2010s，more and more Chinese will pay money to some great production.They acquire,and willing to pay for that.And thanks to STEAM to provide a good platform for these people.Thanks to government provide a positive permission to video games. 3:At last is game:ICEY maybe isn't a perfect video game for all of gamers.But it is a remarkable milestone for Chinese game rerising.If you happend to see my words,that will be my greatest honor to give you my thought.If you buy it. I wish you can enjoy yourself.If you don't want to buy it ,i will not say something to persuade you to buy it..Everyone desrve to be respected. PS:UNFORTUNATELY ICEY was cracked.It didn't have denuvo.Crack it is not diffcult. ICEY was cracked by GAMER SKY(游民星空)，which website promised to enterview the developer of ICEY but craked it in another day.I deeply consure GAMER SKY for its shameless crak.
