The plot of Heavy Rain revolves around the case of a serial killer called the Origami Killer. His nickname comes from the paper works he leaves on the bodies of his victims. The player controls four characters, whose stories intertwine. The protagonists of the game are: Ethan Mars, who is trying to save his kidnapped son, journalist Madison Paige, detective Scott Shelby, and FBI agent Norman Jayden. Each of these people has a completely different story and motivation. ✅✅✅Another review of mine and another excellent game where I liked almost everything ✅The ability to play as several characters, which means that we can observe how the plot develops from different perspectives (Just like in Detroit Become Human) ✅Strong and suspenseful plot until the very end ✅Very engaging crime plot ✅The visuals, even after so many years are impressive ✅Plenty of surprising plot twists ✅Choices that have a huge impact on the course of the game ✅Interesting NPCs and their stories ✅Greatly written characters ✅Cinematic style ✅Interactive thriller packed with QTE elements where the speed of reaction is of no small importance ✅Dozen or so different endings ✅Motifs with collecting traces ✅The choices really affect the plot, ✅IWO and its possibilities ✅Good soundtrack ✅Length of the game ✅The price of the game is okay ❌few crashes and animation cuts ❌forced love story

Spoiler Warning Heavy Rain. A very old but Gold Playstation 3 Masterpiece Remaster. Like Fahrenheit & Beyond 2 Souls it was a long Time on my Wishlist High Priority. Fahrenheit i started DVD but stopped & finished it on Steam. Happy to complete all 3 Quantum Dream Masterpieces 100 %. Like Fahrenheit & Beyond 2 Souls the Story is strange & unique. You play 4 Persons in over 50 short Episodes Ethan Mars (Father of 2 Sons), Norman Jayden (FBI Agent), Madison Paige (helpful Woman) & Scott Shelby (Private Detective) The Ending can be made by 16 Unique Puzzle Pieces, very sad Ending or a very good Happy Ending. +++ 100 % Steam Achievements (even some 0 Mistakes Challenges are not so easy for older Players like me or repetive for getting all Ending +++ 5 Trading Cards (perfect Number) +++ very good unique Story, if you like it & 16 Story Ending Parts & some Saw Movie Elements ++ good Sound + good Graphics for a PS3 Game - very short if you rush 1 Time trough - some Quick Time Challenges 0 Mistakes for older are really hard to make Good for Achievement Hunters, Trading Card Fans, Quantic Dream Fans, unique Story Likers (some Saw Movie Elements) Cant wait to play Detroit Become Human & hopefully soon next Game from Quantic Dream Thx 4 Reading. Hard to put down
If you're going to play w/controller (like you probably should) and you have problems with commands involving rotating the right joystick IT IS AN EASY FIX: with your controller connected, right click the game in your library and go to Manage > Controller Configuration, then click Right Stick ABS > Advanced Settings > Additional Settings and set "Dead Zone Outer" to it's MAXIMUM. Now it'll play exactly like it was meant to for console and you can appreciate it for all it has to offer Devs ought to make this change the default, but hey now you can have fun with the game :)
