I remember getting this beauty in a bundle pack for my rocking gaming chair around 2009. Still till this day one of the scariest games I have ever experienced. I loved playing it so much on my xbox 360 but it's a shame I never got around to finishing it. Planning to do so when I play the remaster on PC sometime soon. Regardless I will still give this a positive due to the lasting impact it did on me as a kid.

A spectacular experience
A spectacular experience. When people say that the game is a classic and a masterpiece in horror, they are not joking. But what personally got me was the actively hostile atmosphere in it. The game feels uninviting and as if everything on Ishimura, including the ship Ishimura herself, wants you to die. Incredibly nerve wracking. While the game has some issues (some stemming from the port not being the best), it's still a must play for anyone who calls themself a horror fan.

Better than expected
8/10 One thing that kind of threw me off is how many items or ammo the enemies would drop, it wasn't even a rarity to see this happen, but more so from almost every enemy you killed, which for a game like this, would've been fine with having most of the loot scattered elsewhere (like it already does), unlike having it drop from enemies, but hey, that's just me! Overall, was a great experience!
