About Confess My Love

The story takes place after school, when Willie decides to confess his love to the girl of his dreams, Liza. Afraid of being refused, he hesitated for a while. Should he summon up his courage and confess his love to her? Why Julie is still there? Don't forget to hide his diary from the others, it ought to be never read by anyone. Now the only problem is the weird, yet somewhat familiar feeling Willie has in the classroom... —————————————————————————— 【Character introduction】 Willie: The hero who just can't make up his mind on whether or not to confess his love to Liza. Liza: The girl Willie likes always finishes her assignments at school before her part-time job at night. Julie: She insisted on staying in the classroom for some untold reason. —————————————————————————— This is a mini game with 20 endings. Each of them is short and no longer than five minutes. The story changes subtly each time you obtain new endings. This game is quite boring, the main content is to explore and read dialogue. It may take about three hours to complete. Easy recommendation

The game like described on the store front, is a mini game with 20 different endings (all lasting less than 5 minutes). The concept revolves around the player yourself being in a classroom with the heavy task of confessing your love to Liza. With each ending changing depending on the time you confess, to weather the other girl Julie is in the room. Overall the main protagonist Willie is repeating the same space of time over, and over, and over without realising so till he finds out during one of the special endings which gives him a flashback on his next repition. I won't go into details about the ending, but overall the game seems very similar to a light novel by the name of "Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria" where in the first volume the same kind of event takes place just slightly different. If you've got some time to kill then it may be worth the chance of trying it. Keep in mind its very repetitive, but also the studio behind the game also has there own ending walkthrough avaliable if you get stuck with some.

I highly recommend this game!

I highly recommend this game! It's free to play, with multiple endings; you will get the most out of this experience if you play it all in one sitting. Although the concept is really nothing new (a tale of unrequited love and the anguish it can cause), the game presents this concept in a unique way. I would love to see this game expanded upon because it really leaves you wanting more. The sprites are adorable and the sound/music really helps set the tone. The writing, despite a few grammar errors here and there, is simple but adds realism in the dialogue between characters (and the inner thoughts of the main character). The humor is a nice touch, which juxtaposes very well with more disturbing elements later on. This game doesn't rely on blood or jumpscares to frighten you. The sense of fear is cumulative; like a chill slowly running up your spine which gradually increases as the game progresses. If I had to compare it to another game, I would say it reminded me of "Hello?...Hell...o?" Confess my Love involves a lot of experimentation, perfect timing, close attention to minor details, interesting puzzles to solve and plenty of trial-and-error gameplay. The entirety of the game takes place in a single setting, with only three characters. The minimalistic approach and seemingly innocent story really lulls you into a false sense of security. You think you know what will happen next, or you think you know exactly what to expect. But there's a lot more beneath the surface!

Better than expected

A very nice, short adventure that will not only leave you guessing as to what to do, but also might surprise you every once in a while with the scenarios it throws at you. Each playthrough takes less than 5 minutes, so multiple playthroughs are encouraged, as the game changes after every ending! One thing I will knock the game for is its translation - you can notice very clear spelling mistakes from time to time & phrases that don't really make sense either, so the work there could be done a little bit better. But overall - very nice distraction game to play & possibly show your friends as well! With the price tag of "Free", you can't really go wrong with this.
