In Memoriam. Mohammad Fahmi Hasni, co-creator and writer of Coffee Talk passed away on March 28th, 2022 from an asthma attack. He was only 32 years old. Fahmi had a big heart and was a wonderful person. He was known as someone who is really passionate about telling meaningful stories through games. He was a role model that inspired many of us, especially Indonesian indie game developers. Rest in peace, Fahmi.. About the Game. Coffee Talk is a game about listening to people’s problems and helping them by serving up a warm drink out of the ingredients you have in stock. It is a game that depicts lives as humanly as possible, while having a cast that is more than just humans. Immerse yourself in the stories of alternative-Seattle inhabitants, ranging from a dramatic love story between an elf and a succubus, an alien trying to understand humans’ lives, and many others modern readers will find strongly echo the world around them. Easy recommendation
Just when I started this game and was introduced to the mesmerizing and magical Seattle of Coffee Talk I heard the news. The death of a person is a sad event, it's even sadder when they are young, but when you know that they loved what they were doing in their life and shared that love with others and you... then it's a real tragedy. Rest in peace Mohammad Fahmi Hasni, I promise I'll continue serving my patrons with the same love and dedication you made this wonderful game.

A quiet favourite
Side note: Mohammad Fahmi Hasni, the co-creator and writer of this game and many others, has recently passed away. This game is perfect for when you want to wind down to some beautiful pixel art, cozy lofi music, and an interesting story. A solid "Get Va11HallA instead, unless this is on sale. Otherwise, maybe.". Coffee Talk: Fantasy Coffee-brewing Action, is a day-by-day visual novel with slight coffee-brewing mechanics on the side. Its storyline is broken up into several days, of which customers visit your coffee shop and talk. The first few days are rather short: no longer than a few minutes, but as the story advances the days become more packed with story. The game as a whole is rather short, less than 3 hours to complete the main storyline. Overall, generally a well rounded game, but not $15. On the other hand, it compares rather poorly to Va11halla, a game with a nigh identical format, but has more characters, story, and charm. If you liked Va11halla, and really can't wait for N1RVAnnA, then get it on sale. Otherwise, just get Va11halla. But I'm still recommending it because steam doesn't allow maybes, and there's very little competition for this niche of VN.
