A quiet favourite
I will not be able to get over this game for a while, it was simply one of the best horror games I've played in a long time. An original, that's what leaves an impact the most. Horror games these days are all starting to look alike, you're either in a house collecting keys, or a forest collecting papers. And something's out there to get you while you're stripped out of any means of fighting, cheap jumpscares left and right, you're out of batteries and it's the end of the world. But this game right here, is so simple, yet better than many many many other horror titles, and I've played a lot of horror games. You are basically set up by a serial killer I would say and trying to make your way out alive. It's not only simple, but it's also engaging because it's something that could happen in real life as well. You will find yourself caught up in this game as if it was you who was trapped in that house. Every dark corner, corrider, stairs, attic will turn into your nightmare, , not knowing when, where or who might get you. You see lights, the sky, the city, you feel relieved, you are going to make it, but you still wonder, is he behind you? Is he gonna jump in front of you? You will never know, you heart starts racing as you try your best to stay focused and you start wondering what's gonna happen next if you make it out, and what if you don't. Play it and find out! The ending is fantastic. I can't name one thing I didn't like about it, the horror ambiance is absolutely one of the best. The graphics, the atmosphere, physics, background sounds, everything is well put together. Not a single bug. Easy working achievements. Original story and gameplay. Really impressive work, I urge you to try it, you won't regret it.

There are no heroes in Blameless
There are no heroes in Blameless. No police officer or detective protagonist here; just an ordinary man who makes ends meet by working in construction. As our architect visits his latest location he is suddenly knocked out only to find himself trapped within a house. The premise is brilliant. Imprison a guy in a location which is, in fact, his area of expertise. You can clearly see that the room you are in is unfinished. As some of the tools were carelessly left out of place you have the opportunity to use them and, eventually, make your escape. I divide the game up into 2 sections. First, you have to move from one room to the next but after a while you'll find yourself outside. Here, there are more areas that you can access (garage or shed) so this section requires a little more thinking and puzzlesolving. I particularly like games that give you the opportunity to solve problems in several ways. I would like to emphasize that attention-to-detail in this game is excellent. I had my fair share of work done at such a construction site during a hot summer in my youth - all while constantly being yelled at by the construction foreman. There is a sense of dread here as you wander around at night in such a place next to tools, bricks, pipes and other constructions materials lying about. You never know when and who will jump out of the concrete mixer. To top it off as you see your journey through you'll find out just how innocent you are. A brilliant finish to a great, albeit short, story. Blameless is a great little adventure game. One reason for recommending it would be the above list while the other is the fact that it is free of charge.

Fun and short game with easy achievements and nice graphics. Considering that it is FREE, I don't understand how anyone can vote this down. Definitely worth a playthrough.
