I am writing this review at 4am
I am writing this review at 4am. I just spent my whole night trying to work out the wonderful carwreck of an ending this game has. The story starts off similar to pretty much every other VN you'll have played. It doesn't stay that way for long. It rewards you for being obedient and following the story but god forbid you go against the grain and try to flip things around after your first playthrough. It gets VERY messy. Go in blind Dont use a guide until you absolutely have to. This is NOT an ordinary VN. I am scared of women now

I bought this game because of the comparisons it was getting to Doki Doki Literature Club. I loved DDLC, but in my honest opinion, the comparisons between this game and DDLC are not valid. Without trying to spoil anything this game is on a whole other level. YOU and ME and HER is by far the best visual novel I have played. I'm not really a huge fan of the genre either, but I would go so far as to say this is probably even in my top five of all games I've ever played. If anyone reading this is curious about the game I will give you two pieces of advice. First, go in completely blind. No guides. No Youtube videos. Don't even read other Steam reviews so you can avoid potential spoilers. The more you find out while actually playing the game the better the experience will be. Second, pay the extra money at Jast USA website for the adult patch. The Steam version is not the adult version. Yes the patch will add sex scenes, but it also will add things to the dialog as well. From what i understand some of the dialog is censored without the adult patch, which could cause some confusion as to what is really happening in the game. Overall 10/10. This is one game that i will gladly never replay again.
