Having a absolute blast playing single player, however online is another story
Having a absolute blast playing single player, however online is another story. Want to play with a friend? crash, want to use custom arena's with a friend? crash. Oh you got into a match with a friend? guess what happens 3 minutes later? Crash. This is totally unacceptable

The game is fun at a fundamental level
The game is fun at a fundamental level. The modes are better than they were in 2K23 and the roster is leagues above it as well. However, nuking community creations that use unlocked content from the abhorrent sewage drain that is myfaction, a mode NOBODY wants to play, by marking them all as damaged content as well as actively attempting to kill the modding scene for the game is inexcusable. News flash morons, half the people playing the game want to mod it. Maybe don't treat half of your player base like trash and ruin the game for them next year.

Wait for a sale
Half the things in the game don't work, custom content constantly breaks in Universe mode, multiple features straight up don't work, developers openly announce they don't plan to fix these issues. Multiple advertised features straight up do not work. UPDATE: 1 day after writing this review the game broke my whole save in Universe mode, forcing me to start completely over, which is really bad, since i use that save for content creation. It baffles me how this game is allowed to be sold in this state. If you are planning to play Universe mode, GET A DIFFERENT GAME (wait, i forgot they pull support, including uploading custom images and downloading custom content from the older games after less than 2 years) SECOND UPDATE: I have had many more issues since the last update, and literal dozens of hours wasted with various problems while trying to use this game for content creation. We have found many more instances of small to even bigger features not working (like moving image layers in "Create a Championship", nonexistant replays in AI-Matches, black custom crowd signs).
