Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks
Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. The Co-op, Action, Horror mix is what kept me playing; Warhammer 40,000: Darktide knows what it wants to be. On paper it is Four-player 40k carnage with melee that sings., and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Pacing is generous, checkpoints are fair, and the whole thing respects your time. The UI takes a little getting used to, but everything is where you expect it. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.
