A friend recommended it and I owe them one. Liar's Bar leans hard into Cozy, Sim, Strategy, and that is exactly the part that worked for me. On paper it is Dive into this multiplayer online experience set in a sketchy bar where the, and for once the game mostly lives up to that. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. There is more content here than the price suggests. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

I bounced off it twice before finally giving up. Fans of Cozy, Sim, Strategy will recognise the pieces, though Liar's Bar never quite assembles them. What it promises (Dive into this multiplayer online experience set in a sketchy bar where the) is more interesting than what it actually does moment to moment. Performance was acceptable, though the loop repeats itself well before the credits. It runs well on a mid-range rig, though the later areas get busy. Wait for a deep sale.
