One of my best buys this year
Over a 1000 hours spent on this, many of them making my Broxton map, and I've now spent a couple of hundred hours farming it. People might be inclined to mock players of this game, for some reason it might draw the same kind of ridicule as a train sim (nothing wrong with them either). But I don't care about that - It's a great fun game/arcade sim with plenty to do, and loads of mods - tractors and implements of all ages and maps to suit all tastes. I worked on a farm in the Broxton area many years ago, and this game really takes me back to the feel of real farming. The graphic models of Giants' tractors and all equipment are superb, so mods are not essential, but the many mods on offer definitely add to the game. The default game is a bit simplified, so it can appeal to all ages, but still it is good enough to feel like some real farming, and if you want more realism, there are plenty of third party mods that increase the realism, Seasons being the first one that comes to mind. If you're tired of/not a fan of fast paced shooters, and want a more relaxed challenge, then this is a great change of pace. Recommended.

Just remember where there's muck, there's brass, owt's better then nowt, tha knows. Be sure to play with tha pals! ‘Ear all, see all, say nowt. Eat all, sup all, pay nowt. And if ever thou does owt fer nowt – allus do it fer thissen I hope you understand some british slang!
