This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. Moe Era wears its Cozy influences on its sleeve, and it mostly works. The pitch — Welcome to Moe Era, the era of cute things! It has everything but a hero to — is delivered without too much filler. It never wastes your time with filler encounters. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. If you are on the fence, give it a shot.

This one kept creeping back into my thoughts during the workday. The Cozy mix is what kept me playing; Moe Era knows what it wants to be. It helps that the premise (Welcome to Moe Era, the era of cute things! It has everything but a hero to) actually shows up in the moment-to-moment play. The difficulty curve is gentle at first and then asks more of you, which felt right. Performance was solid on my machine, no crashes across a full playthrough. Easy recommend at full price.

Picked this up on a whim and ended up playing it every evening for two weeks. If Cozy is your thing, Moe Era delivers it without much filler. The pitch — Welcome to Moe Era, the era of cute things! It has everything but a hero to — is delivered without too much filler. Short sessions work fine here; I rarely lost progress to a bad checkpoint. Checkpoints are frequent enough that a bad run never feels punishing. I will be back for another run.
